John-Paul “JP” Flintoff worked as a journalist for two decades, including roles at the Financial Times, Sunday Times and The Guardian. Now, he draws, performs and writes about his experiences.

His new book, A Modest Book About How to Make an Adequate Speech, is a guide to finding your voice and enhancing your public speaking, drawing on ancient principles of rhetoric and his own successes and failures on the speech-giving circuit.

In this session, JP will bring to life the lessons detailed in his book, providing simple but effective techniques to help you to speak with confidence to any crowd.
