The Employment Rights Act 2025 is finally here. After extensive parliamentary debate and some last-minute amendments, the most significant piece of employment legislation in a generation received royal assent in December last year.
While many implementation details are yet to be finalised, we now have a clear framework and some of the changes will start taking effect from February 2026 onwards. Employers should start to prepare now in order to be ready.
