About the programme
Are you preparing to take on a Board position, have you just started your first appointment, or do you already work as a Director or NED and want to feel more confident in the role?
Stepping up to the Board is a hands-on development programme created to equip you with essential tools, practical skills and connections to maximise your impact and provide valuable, independent oversight.
Directors operate in an increasingly complex legal and business environment, under scrutiny from investors, shareholders and regulators. Our programme covers essential governance, strategic and regulatory learning, as well as sessions around reputational resilience and crisis management, and workshops on leadership, influence and working with different personalities.
We deliver a thorough and engaging educational journey across four connected modules.
By taking part, you will join a valuable cohort of new board members and be afforded opportunities to network with each other as well as Mishcon lawyers, executive coaches, experienced Directors and experts from the Mishcon Academy. Between the structured modules, you will receive small group coaching to create space for reflection and to discuss your challenges and concerns, and to set you up with a network with the potential to provide long-term support, beyond the programme.
