Mary is Mishcon de Reya's GC Relationships Director. She is involved in bringing new corporate clients to the business and growing our GC Network, ensuring that clients are well looked after.
Originally Mary qualified as a lawyer and was a property litigator at Winckworth Sherwood. Prior to this role, Mary was founder of Flex Legal, a platform for in house legal teams and law firms to get interim resource. She grew this over 7 years and it was acquired by Mishcon de Reya in December 2023.
Mary has built up a network of General Counsel for the past 10 years and loves coming up with solutions for her clients. She launched the GC Academy which is a programme to upskill General Counsel with financial literacy, legal ops, legal tech and leadership skills and is passionate about helping add value to lawyers.
Mary has been winner of the Women in Law and Power Awards as a Diversity Champion and Innovator and was Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women in Law Awards. She also led Flex Legal to be recognised as the fastest growing female founded business by E2E Female100 in 2023.
