Richard is a Partner and Head of MDR Discover, Mishcon de Reya's standalone eDiscovery business. He leads a team of eight specialists, six of whom hold the Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) qualification - one of the highest concentrations of RCA-qualified professionals within any UK law firm - alongside a range of additional Relativity and forensic application certifications.
Richard and his team manage the firm's most complex disclosure exercises across a broad range of clients and disputes, bringing market-leading technology and deep specialist expertise to every engagement. He is at the forefront of driving the firm's adoption of artificial intelligence in the eDiscovery space, developing robust and defensible frameworks for the use of AI in document review and investigations that are delivering significant efficiencies and cost savings for clients.
Richard also works closely with Mishcon de Reya's Cyber Risk and Complex Investigations team. This collaboration ensures that clients benefit from a fully integrated and technically sophisticated response to complex data-related challenges.
