Kym is Of Counsel in the corporate venture capital team, with a particular focus on growth finance, venture debt and early stage debt and capital solutions for businesses in the innovation and technology space.
She has over 20 years’ experience advising clients (both borrower and lender side) on a wide range of domestic and cross border debt funding transactions, with deep expertise in acquisition finance, venture debt and growth finance and private equity debt funding.
She works with founders and growth-stage businesses at all stages of their lifecycle, from companies seeking their first debt facilities to more established businesses looking to raise growth capital or implement scalable lending structures.
Her experience includes helping clients assess and structure appropriate debt funding options alongside equity fundraising, whether to extend runway, support a specific growth initiative or preserve equity while scaling. She also has a strong general banking background, having advised on a broad range of corporate banking transactions and structures, including restructurings, sales, purchases, refinancings, due diligence and disclosure exercises. Kym is known for providing practical, commercial advice grounded in a strong understanding of current market terms and trends.
