Josh is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation team in the Dispute Resolution Department.
He advises on complex, multijurisdictional English court proceedings, including disputes across a wide range of subject matters such as shareholder claims under sections 90/90A FSMA, contractual disputes, professional negligence, civil fraud, insurance disputes, and costs proceedings. He has advised clients across a number of sectors, including financial services, technology, transport, manufacturing, betting & gaming, media and insurance.
He has a particular interest in funded group actions and is a contributing author to The Law and Business of Litigation Finance (2nd Ed.; Bloomsbury Professional; 2024).

- Acting for a group of over 13,000 London black cab drivers in their claim against Uber for unlawful means conspiracy.
- Acting for a group of investors in claims under s90 and s90A FSMA against Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc and Indivior Plc.
- Acting for the UK subsidiaries of publisher Bonnier Books in a claim against their former auditor alleging negligence in the audits of their financial statements.
- Advising a software development company in relation to a dispute with a software provider over contractual termination rights.
- Advising a product manufacturer in a pre-action product liability dispute.
- Acting for various multinational companies in settling different contractual and tortious claims brought in England.
- Acting for JPMorgan in its successful defence of a Quincecare claim brought by the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Federal Republic of Nigeria v JPMorgan Chase Bank NA [2022] EWHC 1447 (Comm)).
