Managing Associate

Hollie is a Managing Associate in the firm's Real Estate Dispute Resolution group, specialising in complex disputes relating to high value residential and commercial property, with a focus on helping private clients and HNWI's.

Hollie is experienced in representing clients in litigation proceedings (First-tier Tribunal, Upper Tribunal, County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court level) and providing strategic advice.

Hollie's residential practice includes acting for both landlords and tenants in relation to breaches of lease covenants, boundary disputes and nuisance claims, forfeiture, and complex, high value service charge cases. She also acts in residential possession matters in the private rented sector.

Hollie's commercial practice includes acting for landlords and tenants in lease renewal claims, breaches of lease and dilapidations claims, rent and service charge recovery and property related insolvency.

Key Experience

  • Acting for a Residents Management Company of a large development in central London in relation to substantial service charge arrears.
  • Acting for the long leaseholders of a property in Holland Park in a dispute with the freeholder as to their liability to pay service charges which comprised legal costs incurred in a dispute with a neighbouring landowner.
  • Acting for a ground rent landlord in various matters including a claim against a leaseholder for breaches of alterations covenants and associated forfeiture action and a claim against leaseholders for failure to keep property in repair.
  • Advising clients in relation to the provisions of the Renters Rights Act 2025.
  • Advising a commercial landlord in relation to various tenant breaches including arrears of rent and service charge and tenant insolvency.
  • Advising a large group of leaseholders disputing liability to pay unreasonable utility charges.
  • Advising property guardian company in relation to possession claims and rent repayment order applications.
  • Acting for the long leaseholder of a high value property in London, W1 challenging liability to pay service charges including a failure to comply with s.20 consultation and replacement of the managing agent.
  • Representing a commercial tenant defending a claim for terminal dilapidations.
