Hayley Cross

Hayley is a Partner in the Emerging Companies team within the Innovation Department. 

Hayley is responsible for client management and practice excellence within the Emerging Companies team, driving the team's growth within the Innovation Economy.  With over 15 years of experience as a Corporate lawyer, working with innovative companies and those who invest in them, Hayley now splits her time between developing and delivering internal initiatives and working with clients and our wider network to retain strong relationships in the ecosystem. 

Hayley is head of Mishcon ENTITY, our company secretarial and entity management support service.

Hayley is particularly passionate about the health and wellbeing of those who work in law firms and particularly working parents. She is Wellbeing Lead at Mishcon, working closely with our Wellbeing and EDI Manager on firm-wide initiatives, as well as being a member of the EDI committee.

Key Experience

• Part of a team who regularly advises on 150+ funding transactions per year, both company and investor side
• Advised Hulcan, the luxury brands group, on its acquisition of Raey and Matches and its strategic $150 million investment by Fraser Group
• Advised Sokin, the global payments provider, on its Series A and Series B funding round, the latest raising $50 million
• Advised Centauri Therapeutics on its £30 million Series A funding round
• Advising Guinness Ventures on a number of its EIS and VCT investments
