Giulia Maia is an associate at the MdR Group Actions Team with experience in complex, high-value cross-border litigation across Latin American and European jurisdictions. She played a key role in one of the largest group actions in UK legal history, representing more than 620,000 claimants in a £36 billion claim and contributing to a landmark High Court liability judgment against a multinational corporation.

She advises on multijurisdictional commercial disputes, mass torts, and environmental litigation, with particular strength in large-scale evidence analysis, strategic legal research, and the coordination of litigation strategy across international teams. Giulia trained at top-tier global law firms and has worked on disputes involving multiple legal systems, regulators, and stakeholders across continents.

Fluent in four languages, she brings strong cross-cultural insight to high-stakes proceedings spanning civil and common law frameworks. She holds an LL.M. in Public International Law and is a PhD candidate in International Law, with research focused on artificial intelligence governance and international accountability.
