Felicity is a Consultant in the Real Estate department, and Co-Head of Mishcon de Reya's Hotels Group. She has extensive experience advising clients on the acquisition, development, financing and operation of hotels and hospitality-led real estate assets in jurisdictions ranging from APAC to EMEA and the UK.
She advises a broad range of clients including hotel owners, developers, operators and investors, particularly those with operating businesses where the real estate asset is fundamental to the enterprise – such as hotels, branded residences and student accommodation.
Felicity’s work spans acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, sale and leaseback arrangements, management and operating agreements, and franchise structures. She also advises on development, financing, corporate reorganisations and governance matters.
She is recognised by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 UK for her expertise in the hospitality and leisure industry and is described by the directory as "outstanding". - Advising the sell side on the sale of the Nobu Shoreditch.
- Advised a London-based hotel developer and operator, under an emerging global lifestyle brand, on a complex reorganisation involving ten companies across the UK, Netherlands, France and the US, including financing and operating arrangements.
- Advised on a £363 million acquisition of the Malmaison Hotel du Vin group from private equity firm KSL Capital Partners.
- Advising the buyer on the purchase of the Native Bankside.
- Advising European funds on branding and /or rebranding, management and franchise arrangements with international luxury brands in Greece, Italy and the UK.
- Advising a UK developer of new eco luxury resort and brand on site acquisition and equity funding.
