Susan highlights a panel that she spoke on which considered whether real estate companies are innovating fast enough. COVID-19 has impacted digitalisation in all sectors, but according to some, PropTech remains ten years behind other sectors including FinTech.
Susan highlights her involvement in the inaugural meeting of the Property Week D&I Editorial Advisory Board, which included many new faces and diverse views from across the generations.
Finally, Susan considers her discussion with General Projects founder, Jacob Loftus who commented recently on Twitter, ‘The retention, reinvention and reuse of existing buildings, rather than demolishing & starting again, is one of the simplest moves our industry could make to meaningfully contribute to reducing carbon emissions.’
