Mishcon de Reya has announced that Paul McLoughlin has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Dispute Resolution department.
Paul focusses on business rescue and restructuring solutions, acting for a wide variety of corporate clients, management teams, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners and private equity and credit funds. He has experience advising across multiple jurisdictions and in multiple sectors including real estate, hotels, retail, leisure, industrials, manufacturing, projects and infrastructure.
Paul is noted for his experience in leading negotiations in business rescue and restructuring transactions. He also advises on formal insolvency options and processes including receiverships, administrations, pre-packaged transactions, statutory moratoria and restructuring schemes as well as enforcement of debt claims and security rights. Previously, Paul was a Partner in the London finance team at Hogan Lovells.
Mishcon's Dispute Resolution department is one of the largest and most comprehensive Dispute Resolution offerings in London. Paul will also be a member of the Reshaping Businesses and Relationships team, a collaborative and highly specialist group that will help companies to meet challenges posed to businesses emerging from lockdown.
