Mishcon de Reya has announced the appointment of Dee Aylward, who has joined the firm's Private group as a Partner in its London office. Dee will sit within the Residential Property team.
A specialist in residential property transactions, Dee is known for her expertise in acting for high-net-worth individuals residing in the UK and overseas on time-sensitive sales and purchases of high-value properties in Prime Central London.
Her experience also includes advising on purchases involving complex Stamp Duty Land Tax advice, structuring, multiple dwellings relief and mixed-use advice.
Before joining Mishcon de Reya, Dee headed up the Residential Property team at Laytons LLP since its merger with Silverman Sherliker in 2017. She had previously held the role of Partner at Silverman Sherliker after joining in 2012.
Dee is the second Mishcon Private Partner to join the firm in 2022, following the appointment of David Whittaker in February, and is the seventh Partner to join the firm overall this year.
