Members of the Employment team at Mishcon de Reya have updated their chapter entitled 'Restraint on competition' in the latest edition of the pre-eminent employment law text 'Harvey on Industrial Relations and Employment Law'. Mishcon's Employment team has been responsible for the content and curation of this chapter since 2020.
For the first time, the chapter now contains guidance for practitioners on obtaining interim relief in arbitration. The team have drawn upon their extensive experience in dealing with employee competition disputes in arbitration to explain how a party to arbitration can seek and secure an injunction, and the difficulties they may face in doing so.
