Trustees in the Arts

The day will begin with an opening address by Amanda Gray (Partner, Art Law at Mishcon de Reya) and a keynote address from Victoria Siddall (Board Director, Frieze, Co-founder and trustee of the Gallery Climate Coalition and Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery, Studio Voltaire and Ampersand Foundation).

The event will be looking at the key issues that trustees boards of arts organisations are grappling with in 2024, including sustainability, diversity, the ethics of funding, deaccessioning requests, and insolvency. The event will be attended both by trustees of arts organisations (including all creative industries - visual arts and beyond), aspiring trustees, and professional advisers to trustees.
