Associate in the White Collar Crime and Investigations Group, Christopher Gribbin has been interviewed by LexisNexis as part of their series on the Law Commission's consultation into expanding corporate criminal liability. Christopher's analysis covers the background to the Commission's 'discussion paper', including the developments over the last decade that have led to this point, as well as the ultimate goals of the consultation.
The Law Commission opened the consultation in June 2021 on whether the current law should be reformed and the consultation represents a comprehensive review of all aspects of corporate criminal liability. Responses to the consultation should be submitted by 31 August 2021.
