Sophie is an Associate in the Family team, advising on all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution, financial remedy proceedings, Schedule 1 claims, child arrangements, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and emergency injunctions such as non-molestation and occupation orders. She acts for clients from a wide range of backgrounds and across various industries.
Sophie advises clients on resolving disputes through a range of non-court dispute resolution processes, as well as representing those whose matters proceed through the court system.
Before joining Mishcon de Reya, Sophie volunteered with the North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service, supporting survivors of abusive relationships, and worked as a frontline helpline adviser at the National Centre for Domestic Violence. She has particular expertise in supporting clients whose cases involve issues of domestic abuse.
