Maggie Christiansen

Legal Director

Personal Profile

Maggie is a Legal Director in the Commercial Litigation group, with extensive experience advising clients on disputes arising out of commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, fraud and misrepresentation actions as well as agency agreements and professional negligence claims.

She specialises in complex and often cross-jurisdictional commercial litigation across all sectors, but with a particular focus on civil aviation, transport and logistics, oil and gas and finance and banking.

In addition to commercial litigation, Maggie helps lead the sanctions team at Mishcon de Reya, and has in-depth knowledge and experience of advising both corporate and individual clients on their sanctions compliance, obtaining specific licences from the appropriate authorities and contractual management of said risks, as well as the follow-on civil disputes which can arise as a result. Maggie has also spent considerable time seconded in-house with the compliance teams of major global engineering and logistics companies.

Maggie has been recognised as a "Future Leader in Litigation" by Who's Who Legal.
