Katherine Mason

Katherine is a Managing Associate in the Real Estate department, specialising in commercial property.

She has experience advising on a broad range of commercial property transactions, including the acquisition and disposal of investment properties, lease negotiations on behalf of landlords and tenants, asset management of retail and office assets, real estate finance transactions acting for borrowers and lenders, and development transactions.

Katherine qualified in September 2019 and joined Mishcon de Reya in August 2026.

• Leading on asset management work for the landlord of a large shopping centre.
• Advising a global retail brand on a series of UK store lettings, including its flagship store in Covent Garden.
• Advising on the flagship lettings at a major City of London development, including corporate occupier leases and substation leases.
• Advising on the acquisition and disposal of commercial investment properties, including student accommodation and industrial assets.
• Advising borrowers and lenders on real estate finance transactions including the financing of a shopping centre, hotels and care home portfolios.
• Advising a community housing investment fund in connection with the acquisition, development and forward funding of a commercial and residential development in Milton Keynes.
• Advising on real estate aspects of corporate-led transactions including undertaking property due diligence for share and asset acquisitions.
