Jo is an Associate in the Family department. She has significant experience of working with clients undergoing change in their family relationships, whether as a result of divorce or otherwise, including the resolution of complex financial issues on divorce (often of an international nature), private law arrangements for children, and applications for leave to remove children from the jurisdiction. Jo drafts pre and post-nuptial agreements, and has assisted clients making surrogacy and adoption arrangements.
Jo is a member of Resolution - an organisation which believes in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters and campaigns for improvements to the family justice system. Jo is also part of the department's coercive and controlling behaviour specialist group, which focusses on the impact of such behaviour on clients and their families and the treatment of this form of domestic abuse by the courts.
Jo trained at the Firm before qualifying into the Family department.
