Georgie Heine

Georgie is an Associate in the firm's Private Wealth Disputes team. She specialises in disputes relating to trusts, wills and estates, acting on both domestic and offshore matters.

Her work includes claims concerning the validity of wills and international and cross-border trust disputes. Georgie also has experience in claims for financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

Georgie acts for a range of clients, including claimants and defendants, beneficiaries, trustees and executors.

Key Experience

• Acting in a multi-billion-pound dispute for high-net worth individuals in a global fraud and cross border estate dispute across numerous jurisdictions, including England, USA, Monaco, Panama, Latvia, Switzerland and Cyprus
• Acted in dispute between our trustee client and the beneficiaries, involving a claim by the beneficiaries for an account and consequential relief
• Assisted with a dispute where ee acted for an executor of his father’s estate to defend a proprietary estoppel claim brought by his brother
