Dom Christophers

Managing Associate

Profile

Dom is a Managing Associate in the Family team, with a practice that encompasses all aspects of family law, particularly advising clients in the creative industries.

Before entering family law, Dom spent eight years in the music industry, collaborating with major artists, labels, and live events. He trained at a media and entertainment firm in London's West End, before working at a boutique specialising in their work with HNW clients. This background equips him with a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges faced by HNW clients and those in the public eye.

His work on the influential case of CB v KB significantly shaped current practices in valuing music-related income streams during divorce proceedings and he has written for the Financial Remedies Journal about the treatment of music-related assets upon divorce.

He also authored a practical calculator to assist with child maintenance calculations according to current court guidelines, a topic upon which Dom has appeared on panel discussions to the wider family law industry and provided commentary to The Times and other media outlets.

Dom is the winner of Young Family Law Solicitor of the Year at the Family Law Awards 2023 and has been listed as a "Rising Star" in the Doyle's Guide for three years running (2024, 2025 and 2026).
