Charlotte is an Associate the Family team.
She advises on all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, financial remedy and Schedule 1 proceedings, private law children matters, pre and post nuptial agreements, and variation proceedings. Charlotte has experience working with a range of clients, including (ultra-) high net worth individuals, those in the public eye, homemakers and those with ties to multiple jurisdictions.
She has a particular interest and experience in cases involving discussions around assets acquired prior to the marriage, and also children cases involving multiple jurisdictions. She has experience resolving matters via non-court dispute resolution processes, as well as via court intervention where necessary.
Charlotte is also a member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.
Key Experience
- AB v CD [2025] EWHC 1563 (Fam) - acted for the father in a High Court case where the children were joined to the proceedings, which involved competing summary return applications, complex jurisdiction arguments and various cross-allegations of abuse.
- Acted for the wife of a high-profile football manager in financial remedy proceedings, settled privately to minimise media attention.
- Acted for the mother in a Schedule 1 matter dealt with via arbitration, where the child's father was a member of a Middle Eastern royal family.
- Financial remedy cases involving disputes as to the value and the liquidity of assets, as well as issues around non-matrimonial property.
- Applications for freezing injunctions to protect against the dissipation of matrimonial assets.
- Children Act 1989 proceedings to determine child arrangements, and applications by one party to relocate with the child(ren).
