Private Client - Trust & Estate Administration

  • Acted for the professional administrator (including independent administrator ad colligenda bona and pendente lite) to apply for, inter alia, passing-over the executor(s)/administrator(s), and Letters of Administration for administering the Hong Kong multi-million dollar estates (comprising of various businesses and companies and managing residential and non-residential properties).
  • Advised on applications under Part II of the Mental Health Ordinance (Cap. 136) involving multi-million dollar estates.  Advised on multiple ancillary applications including a variation application to open a Committee’s investment account maintained at an international investment company with high management fees.

Matrimonial

  • Acted for the Petitioner against the permanent relocation of the children (6-day trial) and application pursuant to section 17 (avoidance of transactions intended to defeat certain claims) of Matrimonial Proceedings and Property Ordinance (Cap. 192) involving allotment of share capital of a company.
  • Acted for the mother for the application, on behalf of her child, for a declaration of parentage under Section 6 of Parent and Child Ordinance (Cap. 429) and for financial provisions for the benefit of her child.
  • Applied for orders for non-molestation and non-disclosure of address for the Petitioner.
