Opposing tenancy renewal on the basis of owner occupation

A landlord can oppose the renewal of a tenancy under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 on the basis that it intends to occupy the relevant property itself. Property Litigation associate Isabel Lich looks at how this ground of opposition has been interpreted in recent case law
