Mishcon de Reya's corporate team (led by Saul Sender with support from Larry Nathan and Amy Davidson) advised co-founder David Reiner on the sale of a majority stake in MSM Group, one of the leading conglomerates in Mongolia, to Jebsen &Jessen Group.
MSM Group, headquartered in Ulaanbaatar, spans multiple sectors and has been playing a key role in introducing premium international brands to the Mongolian market since 1998. The transaction took effect after approval by the Mongolian authorities.
Mishcon de Reya worked alongside LCA Solutions, a Hong Kong regulated Multi Family Office (as financial advisor to the founders), WS Chong & Co in Hong Kong and Melville Erdenedalai in Ulaanbaatar (as legal advisors to co-founder Laurenz Melchers) and Herbert Smith Freehills in Hong Kong (as legal advisers to the Mongolian Opportunities Fund as third seller) to successfully complete the transaction for the sell side.
