Mishcon’s IP Team picked up three awards at the 2020 Annual Managing IP EMEA Awards. The Awards recognise firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past year, as well as those driving the international IP market.
In the individual category, the UK Practitioner of the Year award went to David Rose.
Meanwhile, in the Impact Cases of the Year category, the team was recognised for their work on Nintendo Co v Sky UK (in which the team obtained a novel website blocking order for Nintendo), and Sky v SkyKick (described by many as the most important EU trade mark case since the regime began).
Speaking about the Awards, David Rose said: “These awards are well-deserved recognition both for the IP team’s success acting in a number of landmark cases, but also for their commitment to and passion for our clients and delivery of the highest quality advice".
