In this session we will be discussing immigration in sport from both a legal and practical standpoint.
Led by immigration specialists from our Sports Group, the first part of this live event will provide an overview of the sports immigration framework post-Brexit, and explore the impact of COVID-19 (including quarantine regimes and travel restrictions) on sport. It will also take a look at the different immigration routes available to sports persons.
We are pleased to be joined by Senior Football Intermediary, Charlie McNicholas and also Kevin Beadell who is Head of First Team Recruitment at EFL Championship side, Cardiff City FC.
During the second part of the session, the pair will provide a practical perspective of how immigration works in the context of transfers and scouting, and how immigration issues influence decisions at the top of the football pyramid.
