The Climate Crisis Challenge Campaign is hosting a virtual summit, entitled 'Net Zero: The Art of the Possible', on Tuesday 9 June, bringing the property industry together to discuss ways to tackle the climate crisis.
The digital event, which can be accessed here from 12-1:30pm, will explore the findings from Property Week's Climate Crisis Perceptions Survey. A collaboration between Property Week, UKGBC, Mishcon de Reya, Argent and Savills, the event will help provide a clearer picture of current attitudes on the industry's carbon footprint and what changes are necessary if the industry is to rise to the Climate Crisis Challenge.
Sessions at the virtual summit include: a Pecha Kucha presentation from Peter Fisher, Director at Bennetts Associates; a 10-minute TED-style talk by Basil Demeroutis, Managing Partner at FORE Partnership; and a 'Question Time' panel discussion chaired by Property Week editor Liz Hamson, with panellists including Mishcon partner Omega Poole, Modomo's COO and Head of ESG Lorna Walker, Argent's Head of Sustainability & Digital Strategy Claudine Blamey, and Savills director Sophie Chick.
More information on Mishcon's involvement can be found here.
