Kate Clark

Kate is a Partner and Head of Family in Mishcon Private with expertise in Family Law. She has a particular emphasis on high value financial disputes, acting for HNW and UHNW individuals often involving complex structures, trusts and business interests. She is also experienced in high conflict private law children matters and advising clients on pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

Kate advises on cohabitation disputes and private law children matters, including applications for leave to remove children from the jurisdiction and high conflict children matters. She is experienced in advising on pre- and post-marital agreements, and cohabitation agreements, in particular those with an international element.

• MAP v MFP [2015] WEHC 627 (Fam) - Representing the husband in a case with assets, including a very successful family business, of £25m. The wife sought an add-back of £1.5million in respect of the husband's spending over a two year period. Following a final hearing at the High Court, the judge found that although the husband had overspent significantly, this was not done with the intention of reducing the wife's client, and so would not be added back.
