Richard is a Partner in the Innovation Group and works at the centre of industrial change in media, content technology and sport. He advises on a range of commercial, corporate and regulatory matters, including:
- Commercial media and sports - from B2B and B2C product and service terms through to complex, innovative and high value transactions, projects and transformations
- M&A, joint ventures, partnerships and other corporate transactions and projects
- Tech development, deployment, outsourcing and migration, with a particular focus on the adoption, use, governance and regulation of AI and other new technologies
- Data use, governance, licensing and exploitation
- Media regulation including video (broadcast and non-broadcast), audio, social media, online harms, advertising, sponsorship, access and digital identity / verification

Richard’s clients span media, sport and technology including out of home advertising, sports rightsholders, content distribution, content technology and monetisation, data capture and exploitation, fan and end-user engagement, B2B and B2C platform, product and service providers, broadcasters and digital media companies.
