Kishan Parshotam is a Managing Associate in the Firm’s Property Litigation team, within the Real Estate department.
He specialises in complex real estate disputes, with a particular focus on commercial property and high-value residential assets. He acts for a broad range of clients including institutional investors, private equity funds, developers, asset managers and high-net-worth individuals, frequently on matters involving significant financial and strategic importance.
Kishan advises on disputes arising out of joint ventures and development arrangements, as well as claims relating to possession of land, misrepresentation, estate agents’ commission and professional negligence. He also regularly advises on property management issues from both landlord and tenant perspectives, including business lease renewals, forfeiture, recovery of rent and service charge arrears, rent review disputes, breaches of covenant, service charge challenges, dilapidations and property-related insolvency issues.
Alongside his commercial real estate work, Kishan has a strong residential disputes practice. He advises both private and commercial clients on neighbour disputes, party wall matters, nuisance claims and disputes involving freehold management companies.
Kishan has extensive experience of litigation at all levels, including the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as alternative dispute resolution procedures such as mediation and expert determination. He is a Solicitor Advocate (Civil) with Higher Rights of Audience.
He also has experience in wider commercial litigation and arbitration matters, advising on complex disputes and regulatory issues across a range of sectors, including technology, pharmaceuticals, banking, private equity and media. His work in this area includes advising on internal investigations and cross-border disputes.
Kishan is also a Justice of the Peace and sits at the courts of the City of London and City of Westminster.
