Before joining Mishcon, Jared was an associate at a leading law firm in New York, advising sponsors and lenders on complex, cross-border transactions.
Jared is admitted to practise in New York. He is a native English speaker, and is fluent in Spanish.
Key Experience
- Represented the lenders to a major provider of fibre optic services in the first rated 'European-style' common terms platform financing in the US market and governed by New York law. The financing arrangements included bank facilities and USPP notes.
- Represented a syndicate of more than 20 lenders and private placement funder institutions in a common terms platform financing transaction that included a term loan and USPP notes.
- Represented an operator of a four-lane toll road in Texas in the refinancing of existing senior credit facilities and existing PIK credit facilities of an intermediate holding company. The multi-source refinancing comprised (i) a Credit Agreement with commercial lenders, with a term loan facility and working capital facility, and (ii) a Note Purchase Agreement under which the Company issued senior secured notes.
- Represented the sponsor and borrower in connection with a multi-source refinancing for the development, construction, maintenance, and operation of a Multipurpose Port located in Peru. The refinancing was recognised as "Ports Deal of the Year" by Proximo Awards.
