MDR LAB Spotlight on…. Ping
“I first realised I had a problem the first week that I was practising because I absolutely hated keeping track of every six minutes of my day while trying to practise law.”
Ryan Alshak – CEO
Ping
So, we have identified timekeeping as a big problem for lawyers because, as they tell us all the time, tracking their every six minutes of the day is a huge pain. So Ping solves the problem by automating the whole process so that at the end of the day they can review and release their time.
We felt the lawyers here at Mishcon are incredibly openminded about technology, they were really excited about what we were doing, they completely understand the pain point because they live it every day so they have been able to help us identify our UI issues, what integrations we would need to fit into the tech stack of a law firm, they’ve truly been instrumental in shaping and moulding the product. My message to the innovator would be trust your gut. Now, we had a lot of people over the past year that big law is just too big of a gorilla and that we wouldn’t be able to break in. Being here is a testament to us being able to finally break through and be that start-up that can truly transform big law.
