Mishcon de Reya has broadened its real estate finance offering with the appointment of Francisca Sepúlveda, a Partner in the Financial Industry Group at Reed Smith.
Fran joined Mishcon on 27 September 2021 as the fourth Partner in the firm's Real Estate Finance team, which is made up of 10 lawyers.
Fran's practice focuses primarily on the real estate finance market, advising funds, family offices and financial institutions on investment and development financing and debt restructurings, as well as loan sale and purchase transactions. She has broad experience advising on syndicated and bilateral facilities, senior/mezzanine structures and debt trades across a wide range of asset classes. She trained with Taylor Wessing, qualifying in 2005 before moving to Allen & Overy in 2008. She joined Reed Smith as a partner in 2014.
Fran's fluency in Spanish and expansive network across Europe, the US and Latin America means she is well-placed to advise on deals with an international element.
