Mishcon de Reya is now a Chainalysis Certified Investigator Partner, having passed the rigorous crypto investigation accreditation established by Chainalysis, the blockchain data platform.
Joining the Chainalysis Partner Program will further enhance Mishcon de Reya’s crypto asset recovery service, ensuring it is best placed to assist with the increasing amounts victims are losing to cryptocurrency fraud. The firm's in-house team of technologists, lawyers, and forensic accountants will gain access to Chainalysis software, the most complete set of tools and training available to track and tackle cryptocurrency losses.
Tracing cryptocurrency transactions is now a core part of many fraud and cyber-extortion investigations, with businesses increasingly needing to understand the source of funds for specific transactions. The partnership with Chainalysis presents opportunities to recover lost assets, identify perpetrators and understand the risk exposures of transactions.
