Partner Patrick Farrant has been featured in Life Sciences IP Review, highlighting some of the benefits for the life sciences sector in the Government's Spring Budget.
Commenting on the Budget, Patrick noted that it contained “several exciting developments for the UK life sciences industry, including the eye-catching new R&D tax credit scheme”.
However, behind some of the major announcements were exciting developments for the sector, with "several other schemes of real benefit for UK life sciences.”
This includes accelerated drug approvals by the MHRA and the ten-year extension to the British Patient Capital programme, amongst other measures to boost collaboration and investment.
