Join us on the evening of Thursday 16 June for a discussion on public and private sector collaboration in combatting financial crime. The panel comprises Lord Agnew of Oulton DL, former Minister of State at the Cabinet Office and Her Majesty's Treasury, current member of the House of Lords, Helena Wood (RUSI), James Mather (Serle Court Chambers) and will be moderated by Mishcon de Reya's Gareth Minty.
The panel discussion will draw on a new report, produced by Professor Jason Sharman, Head of Politics at Cambridge University, on this topic.
The benefits of public and private sector entities working together in this area are clear – but equally apparent are the practical and cultural obstacles. We consider how these might be overcome to create viable strategies to fight financial crime and recover assets.
The panel will be followed by a drinks reception.
