At its inaugural event, the Free School Meals Club is hosting a panel discussion where Natasha Pearman will be joined by Kanya King MBE, Founder of the MOBO Awards, Sarah Atkinson, CEO of the Social Mobility Foundation and Sophie Pender, Founder of the 93% Club. The panel will discuss why social mobility is good for business and the qualities of people who have traversed socio-economic boundaries.
They will also look at why, if businesses really want to encourage innovation and diversity of thought, they should be actively attracting and recruiting people from varied socio-economic backgrounds and celebrating their talent, determination and personal success.
