What is the true value of English law?
In 2021 LegalUK commissioned Oxera to produce a report evaluating the true economic value of English law. The report (available here) shows clearly that the true value of English law is that it underpins hundreds of trillions of dollars of annual business activity in the UK and across the world, extending far beyond the English legal sector.
In this event we bring together legal, economic and political views on what this means for English law and how its value can be properly grown and exploited.
