Piers Morgan is a broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain.
In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World making him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century. A year later he became the editor of the Daily Mirror, a position he held until 2004. On television, Morgan has hosted his own talk shows Piers Morgan's Life Stories and Piers Morgan Live and judged on the talent competition shows America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent. Piers has written eight books, including four volumes of memoirs.
In this session, Piers will be discussing his most recent book, Wake Up. Wake Up is a rallying cry for a united future in which we reconsider what really matters in life. It is a plea for the return of true liberalism, where freedom of speech is king. Most of all, it is a powerful account of how the world finally started to wake up, and why it mustn’t go back to sleep again.
This live session will be chaired by Elliot Moss, Partner and Director of Business Development at Mishcon de Reya, and will be held virtually on Zoom.
