Welcome to the Mishcon Sports Law Academy.

For those who are new to the Mishcon Sports Law Academy, the SLA is a free-to-access, academic, distance-learning programme designed for junior lawyers, students and non-legal professionals looking to gain a unique practical insight into contemporary sports law issues. Our goal is facilitate debate, examine key issues in the world of sport and share knowledge in order to improve industry standards, promote diversity and nurture young talent.

Through the combination of online lectures, interactive seminars and in-person discussions, all of which are accessible remotely, participants will learn how to navigate the sports law landscape from market-leading experts as well as special guest lecturers.

Recently at the Sports Law Academy

Last term, we welcomed over 1300 participants from 27 countries around the world, including from the likes of: Arsenal FC, Everton FC, the Premier League, Jamaica Bobsleigh Federation, Peruvian Football Federation, British Athletes Commission, Cazoo Limited and Playstation, as well as universities and law firms from across the globe. Here is a video recap of what happened in our final session of the term where we put football on trial for failing to promote the development of women's football and the full participation of women at all levels of football.
