As stability gradually returns to the global economic market, ways to stimulate sustainable growth are high on the agenda. Emerging markets such as China and India are growing much faster than the more developed world markets, and this disparity is likely to affect M&A strategies going forward. The contention is that revenue growth will be dependent on focused investment in selective markets: cautiousness has become second nature.

Innovative strategies are required to best serve both the changed needs and landscape of established world markets and the accelerated growth taking place in emerging markets. In the UK, the weakness of sterling may encourage acquisitive companies to expand to British soil; the attractiveness of the UK, and London in particular, in terms of foreign investment is fast becoming a key theme.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

Many of our clients are business owners and, accordingly, their investment in the fortunes of their companies is a very personal one. We set out to make a difference to them; our lawyers are as personally invested in their successes as they are. We know that they want to solve problems and capitalise on opportunities quickly.  So do we. We challenge conventional ways of working and know that solving the complex problems faced by business owners requires intelligent and often inventive strategies.

We appreciate that, for our clients, there is often no distinction between business and personal matters.  Which is why our attitude to managing their affairs is unique.  We believe that by getting to know our clients intimately we can better understand the challenges that they face.
