Sebastian is a Paralegal in the Group Action team within the Dispute Resolution department. He specialises in case origination and development.
He has over five years' experience of working claimant-side on group actions across the following areas: competition law, consumer harms, data breaches, employment rights, environmental litigation, financial mis-selling, personal injury, product liability, and shareholder disputes.
Sebastian's current role focuses on research into prospective case ideas, with a view to seeking third-party litigation funding. Prior to joining Mishcon in July 2024, he gained extensive experience working on active group action cases, most notably in the NOx Emissions Group Litigation, the supermarket equal pay cases, and the Uber drivers' unpaid wages claim.
Beyond group actions, Sebastian is an active member of Mishcon's pro-bono initiatives, regularly supporting the RCJ Advice Bureau as well as participating in the annual London Legal Walk, both of which endeavour to widen access to justice.
