Hannah Wylie

Hannah is an Associate in the Singapore office. Prior to joining the firm, Hannah trained and qualified at a top international law firm in London and spent six months on secondment to the Hong Kong office of her previous firm.

Hannah has experience representing lenders and sponsors in complex, multi-jurisdictional bilateral and syndicated financings, including real estate investments, acquisition financings, development financings, forward fundings and refinancings.

Key Experience

• Advised PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk and PT Citra Palu Minerals on a US$625 million syndicated project financing to construct an underground gold mine, upgrade a gold processing plant, and bolster minerals exploration and reserves in Indonesia.
• Advised Global Holdings, as borrower, on the £290 million refinancing of the iconic Sea Containers Hotel, London – the investment loan was extended by a syndicate of banks led by ING Bank N.V. London, including SMBC Bank International Plc and Bayerische Landesbank.
• Advised Tristan Capital Partners ' TIPS Two Debt Fund on its first deployment of capital with a loan to private equity fund, Valor Real Estate Partners, to fund the off-market acquisition of a multi-let industrial property, Westwood Trading Estate, Park Royal.
• Acted for KKR 's equity side on a series of joint venture forward fundings in the European purpose-built student accommodation market.
• Advised a Swiss private bank on its first hotel acquisition financing in the United Kingdom.
• Advised a major financial institution on the restructuring of a defaulting borrower and refinanced an existing investment loan.
• Advised Tristan Capital Partners ' TIPS One Debt Fund and co-investment capital on a £180 million facility to a BGO and Mission Street joint venture to refinance and development finance three life sciences assets across Cambridge and Oxford – one of the fund 's first ventures into the life sciences space.
• Acted for a major US financial institution as original lender on the £160 million refinancing of an existing purpose-built student accommodation portfolio.
• Advised Goldman Sachs Alternatives-backed Riverstone on a £143 million development financing by Cheyne Capital Real Estate of a luxury senior living development in Hampstead, London.
• Acted for Deutsche Bank, Hong Kong SAR Branch, as agent and arranger on a US$160 million loan to refinance the Excel Centre in Beijing, involving a complex cross-border security package.
