Melissa Lesson, Partner in the Family team, has been featured in Spear's together with other top divorce and family lawyers, discussing the evolution of their profession and anticipating changes to HNW divorce in the UK.
Melissa commented: "It does feel as though people are less litigious than they were back then. I think there are more clients now who are less willing to spend a huge amount of money, which is a positive thing. Long may that continue, because in family law your aim is not to polarise the parties, especially if they’ve got children. They need to be able to come out of this process, able to speak to each other and go to their children’s weddings together. And propelling them into full-scale war is not going to achieve that."
