We are delighted to invite you to our penultimate session of the 2020/21 Sports Law Academy programme, focusing on the financial management of football clubs.
During this live event, we will be joined by leading sports counsel and financial fair play (FFP) expert, Nick De Marco QC who will be discussing what FFP is, whether it has been effective and the different regulatory regimes that govern it. Nick has advised the likes of Derby County, Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday before the EFL Disciplinary Commission. He will also participate in a live Q&A session with Simon Leaf, Head of Sport at Mishcon de Reya.
In addition, Mishcon de Reya Associate Tom Murray will be providing a comprehensive overview of FFP rules and presenting on what happens when a football club enters into administration.
