Kate is in charge of Knowledge for the Corporate department. Prior to joining Mishcon de Reya in 2009 she spent over 15 years in City law firms - in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. She worked with fully and AIM-listed companies and private ones. Today she is a skilled and experienced knowledge manager, with responsibility for know-how, training and development in the Corporate department.
As part of her remit, Kate is drafting and developing the Corporate department's precedents and writing articles on and training fee earners in new law and practice. She has been leading initiatives to bring information on law reform to the attention of the our clients in a way that supports the Firm's goals of clear business thinking. She has been closely involved with reform of company law, particularly the 2006 Companies Act, the most significant change in company law in over 20 years. She also has in-depth understanding of regulation applying to quoted companies, both on AIM and the main market.
