Nick is a Partner and Head of the Corporate Department where he is an expert in M&A, corporate finance and business law. His work embraces a wide range of industries including recruitment, finance, e-commerce, technology, renewable energy and property services, and a wide range of business types from entrepreneurs to international corporations. It is in recruitment, however, that Nick forged a particular reputation. From the late 1990's onwards he advised monster.com (previously TMP Worldwide) on its acquisition programme and continues to advise numerous other clients in this sector.

Nick often assumes a "consigliere" role for his clients. The Legal 500 praised him for his "M&A savvy" and he is listed in the "UK and European Legal Experts 2010" Guide for Corporate/M&A. Inbrief Magazine described him as a "great corporate lawyer for ecommerce transactions".
